Mike has been apart of Front Range Orthopaedics since February 2008. He specialized and hip and knee joint reconstruction and works directly with Dr. Szuszczewicz. He graduated from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas with his Bachelor Degree in Biology. He was also a 4-year collegiate baseball player for Newman University.
After graduation, Mike went on to earn his Master’s in Physician Assistant Sciences from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He graduated King’s College PA program with highest honors and presented his Master’s thesis at the National Academy for Physician Assistants.
While employed at Front Range Orthopaedics, Mike has accompanied Dr. Szuszczewicz on 2 humanitarian mission trips with Operation Walk Virginia Chapter. They have travel to Ecuador and Panama to provide joint replacements for individuals that could not afford medical care. Mike says, “OpWalk was the most humbling and rewarding experience he’s had as a PA.”
Mike currently resides in Colorado Springs with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys playing softball and golf when he has some free time.
