Dr. Szuszczewicz is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Szuszczewicz completed his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. His post-graduate training included a surgical internship at the University of Colorado, and a research fellowship in adult reconstruction (hip and knee surgery) at Harbor-UCLA. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Tulane University, and a clinical fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Szuszczewicz has published numerous papers from his work at Harbor-UCLA, Tulane, and AORI and was awarded the prestigious Charnley Award for research in hip replacement surgery. He has completed additional training in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery as well as uni-compartmental (partial) knee replacement surgery.
