Dr. Royce is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango and the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He also completed the Harvard Medical School Program for Pediatric Orthopaedics and for Total Joint Replacement Surgery at the Children's Hospital in Boston, and the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, respectively. His fellowships include an AO/ASIF Fellowship from Visp, Switzerland and a fellowship on cartilage and arthritis surgery from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Royce's professional area of interest is in treating the arthritic knee. He is a member of the US Olympic Committee on Sports Medicine and travels internationally with the USA Hockey teams. Dr. Royce is a native Coloradoan who enjoys outdoor sports, boating, and hiking.
